Advanced Ministerial Program

for those Interested in Becoming Hands-on Healers through Church of the Creator®
   Accepted by the Church of the Creator®, this program is administered by Rev. Laura Thornberry, A.M., P.P., to assist those who have chosen a spiritual path and are now ready to open up to their own innate talents through attunement with their Higher Selves. Candidates for ordination will possess an attitude of service and devotion, a demeanor of humility with a strong sense of True Self, and a generally balanced nature.  As spiritual growth occurs, reverence for the powers of God made manifest through the individual is exemplified.  An understanding of the necessity to allow everyone to grow at their own pace in their own time averts the temptation to manipulate others.  This program is designed for those who have had some experience in the healing arena and desire ordination to perform hands-on healing.  Requirements are standardized, but the path to demonstrating them is individualized.  Each candidate will enter the program with a unique background – proficient in some areas and perhaps lacking exposure in others.  It is not necessary to repeat areas in which one is proficient.  The areas needing expansion may be met by reading, taking courses offered in those areas, or through private sessions when necessary.  A personal interview with Reverend Thornberry is needed to determine a reasonable plan of action for each candidate.
Ministerial Program Requirements:   


Meditation: Explain how to use ten different techniques to enter meditation and be able to lead group meditation  Prayer: Explain the difference between meditation and prayer and be able to lead Group prayer  Cleansing: Explain external and internal cleansing and the importance of each.  Explain the potential side effects and benefits of internal cleansing  Nutrition: Explain the importance of nutrition to spiritual growth Explain the concept of macrobiotics  Explain the concepts found in Deepak Chopra’s work on nutrition  With Spirit, develop a dietary plan for your personal growth  Sound: Find your own personal keynote  Explain the use of vocal and non-vocal sound in healing, balancing, and harmonizing  Demonstrate chanting and sacred emanations and explain their use  Crystals: Read Volumes 1, 2, and 3 of Katrina Raphael’s books on crystals  Correctly identify specialized crystals and explain their uses  Demonstrate three ways to work with crystals  Explain how to cleanse crystals  Healing Modalities: Explain how each of the following modalities is used:  Massage, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Energy Work, Toning, Color, Crystals, Reiki, Jin-Shin-Do, Shi-At-Tzu, Psychic Healing, Auric Healing, White Light Healing  Psychic Development: Demonstrate minimal working knowledge of the following tools:  Tarot and other cards, Palmistry, Numerology, Astrology, Scrying, Tea Leaves, Runes, Reading Fires/Flames, Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience, Pendulum Ceremony  Demonstrate knowledge of performing weddings, funerals, baptisms, services and where to find useful formats of those rituals  Prepare a ritual ceremony and present a mock ceremony
Jesus the Christ taught that the things which He did, and even greater, would those do who followed Him.  Most people did not understand that He was speaking literally and expected humans to discover the divinity within.  The divinity would enable them to do the things which The Christ did.  These powers are not limited to people of any specific religion; rather, they are available to all who seek spiritual awakening, cosmic consciousness, or whatever name one chooses to ascribe.   
Many other spiritual gifts will be awakened on the journey to become a Hands-On Healer, and spiritual growth continues after ordination.  Ordination is only one step which may be taken on their personal path to spiritual growth and enlightenment.
